Eligibility Criteria

A holistic admissions process that sees you as more than just marks, your passion, potential, and purpose matter too.

Bachelor of Public Health (BPH)
10+2 required from stream with an aggregate of 50% marks.
B.Sc. in Environment & Sustainability (BSc-ES)
10+2 required from any stream with an aggregate of 50%.
Master of Public Health (MPH)
Bachelor’s Degree in any stream (with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade) from UGC recognized universities.
Note: Admission of foreign nationals / NRIs, shall be based on the prescribed University norms for international admissions.
Master of Public Policy (MPP)
Bachelor’s Degree in any stream (with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade) from UGC recognized universities.

M.Sc. in Environment & Sustainability
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Architecture, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Public Health, Geography, Agriculture, Biotechnology, or related disciplines from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50%.
Note: Admission of foreign nationals / NRIs, shall be based on the prescribed University norms for international admissions.
Executive MPH (For Working Professionals)
This is a hybrid programme tailored to meet the needs of busy working professionals. The overarching objective of this MPH programme is to empower these individuals with the skills and expertise necessary to excel in their roles as public health specialists. Eligibility: Currently employed individuals with a bachelor's degree in a health-related field with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
MPH Dual Degree with University of Aberdeen:
A health-related Honours degree (with a minimum of 65%) or be able to demonstrate evidence of equivalent experience in health care practice or research. Students from non-health backgrounds who have Honours degrees (with a minimum of 65%) in science, social science or humanities subjects and who are interested in a public health related career will also be considered for the programme.
PhD (Public Health, Public Policy, Health Systems, Environment & Sustainability):
A candidate seeking admission to the course of study leading to the award of a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) can possess at least one of the following qualifications: Master’s degree in the respective subject with 55% marks OR Undergraduate professional degree of 5 years duration OR a 4 -year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks OR MD / MDS. Those who fall under the category of Foreign Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRI), or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), should have undertaken an equivalent grade examination outside India

Global Faculty Initiative

Scholar in Residence

A unique initiative by the school wherein international scholars from reputed institutions from Canada, US, and more, spend anywhere between 4-12 weeks in the DYPU campus to foster exchange of ideas and provide a global perspective. During their time at the school these scholars work on a collaborative research project, network with faculty and students, deliver talks and also prepare manuscripts for combined publications. Additionally, they are exposed to the cultural diversity of the region.

Global Immersion Experience
